How did it come about...
Globetrotter.photography arose as the stories, impressions and pictures I have gathered on my endless journey became so numerous that they needed a place to be shared.
Many moons ago I put on my backpack to leave home for the first time, since then I am mostly on the road exploring this world; I have seen many things but I have seen nothing! One thing I experience again and again is that us people, whereever we are and to whichever community we "belong", are basically all the same. We have the same worries and the same needs, our babies are hungry, we love to laugh and to be loved. This is a very essential fact of humanity! Whereever you go you'll find the funny, the lazy, the small ones and so on, some happy some sad but this does not change the fact that we are all humans of the same kind! All differences between us stem from our ways of thinking, and are therefore a constructed reality.

Ten years ago I started taking photos of random subjects. For the past 6 years I have travelled a large part of Asia where I have broadened my photographic skills. In recent times I have also started experimenting with the world of video and movie production. I am a very passionate observer of natural beauty, it has become one of my favourite fields with no limits - from macro to fine-art to landscape, I can't get bored if you put me into the wild with some working gear!
Beside nature photography I am specialised in travel, event, documentary and architecture photography.
